Christmas in China

Although Christmas is very popular in many countries around the world. But in fact, it is not so popular in China. In China, most of the people who celebrate Christmas are young people. After all, in Chinese, the most important festival of the year is the Spring Festival. Let me introduce the current situation of Christmas in China.

In China's cities, many shops, merchants will be very festive to welcome Christmas, but Christmas has almost become a gimmick of their discount promotion, in my opinion, their love of Christmas is a large part of the Christmas sales of their own goods.

In addition to businesses, young people in the city also enjoy Christmas because it's a good reason for young men and women to express their love, meet friends, and have dinners among family members.

In short, in the city, although the celebration of Christmas dress up a lot, but in fact, there is no full atmosphere of celebration.

But Christmas has a lower impact in rural areas than in cities, and many older people have never heard of it at all, and no one, even Christians, is prepared for it.

Of course, perhaps it is not that they do not want to celebrate, but that there is no atmosphere, after all, in an environment without Christmas, a person's hot and lively preparation, it will feel very strange.

Therefore, I think if a festival is not based on the corresponding cultural background, it is difficult for it to become popular locally.
